The Daily Herald Business Ledger joined by partners Innovation DuPage and NAWBO honor Lifetime Achievement Award winner Sharon Falco, Broker at RE/MAX Central and President of The Sharon Falco Group along with 13 local business leaders as part of their 23rd Annual Entrepreneurial Excellence Awards hosted September, 22nd 2022.

When Sharon Falco first hit the scene in the Northwestern Suburbs of Chicago, she said she wanted you as a customer for life - and she really meant it! Sharon Falco is one of the world's most recognized and successful residential real estate agents in the United States winning numerous sales awards locally, regionally, nationally and internationally. She has been a featured speaker at numerous seminars through-out the country. Sharon is the number one sales agent in the history of the Northwest Multiple Listing Service, and the M.A.P. M.L.S. This year celebrating her forty-second year in real estate, she has sold over 6,000 homes and achieved over 900 million in career sales.

Considering her humble beginnings, it is hard to fathom her incredible success, yet it is simple to understand. Sharon is originally from Omaha, Nebraska where she lived in a bungalow with her parents, and five brothers and sisters. She learned quickly that if you want to eat you need to get to the plate early. A lesson Sharon brings to the "table" even today. "In business, my customers always come first. Getting them where they need to be and when they need to be there is our number one priority," she shares.

Over 40 Years of Experience: Sharon's experience speaks for itself. She has consistently been in the top 1% in sales, volume, and units sold in Re/Max of Northern Illinois. She is also one of the first recipients of the coveted Circle of Legends Award. As of today, Sharon still holds the record for most homes sold in the history of the Multiple Listing Service in the Northern Region.

At various points they employed their daughters, son-in-laws, siblings, cousins, grandchildren and family friends. Her publicist writing this message is her granddaughter. The graphic design materials on her website and social media are also from another granddaughter. Talk about a multi-generational family business model!
